DevOps Automation Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Automation Engineer will design, implement, and manage automation solutions that improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the organization’s infrastructure and applications. Working on‑site in Fort Gordon, GA, you will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Create and maintain scripts in Python, JavaScript, and related languages.
• Design and manage infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) deployments for consistent environments.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and release processes.
• Integrate automated testing and deployment to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security of automated systems.
• Identify automation opportunities, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and provide technical support.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python and JavaScript.
