DevOps Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑wide automation solutions. You will work closely with infrastructure, development, and security teams to boost scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Create reusable playbooks, roles, and scripts for provisioning, configuration management, and deployments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate automation into middleware and database environments.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and evolve existing automation frameworks.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and document processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Ansible (AAP, playbooks, roles, YAML, Jinja2).
• 5+ years of Python 3.x development for automation and REST API integration.
• 10+ years of Bash/Shell scripting on Linux/Unix platforms.
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration background.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments.
