Device Engineer – Drug Delivery Devices

About the role

The Device Engineer will support the design, development, and lifecycle management of commercial drug‑delivery devices in a regulated design‑control environment. This hands‑on position blends laboratory testing with technical operations and sustaining‑engineering activities for mechanical delivery products such as prefilled syringes.

Key responsibilities

• Support design, development, and lifecycle management of commercialized drug‑delivery devices.
• Execute and coordinate laboratory testing, design verification, and failure investigations.
• Maintain Design History File (DHF) documentation, traceability records, and lifecycle documentation.
• Assess design changes and contribute to product improvements.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, quality, manufacturing, and operations to ensure inspection readiness and project deliverables.

Required profile

• Hands‑on engineer with experience in laboratory testing and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with regulated product development and design‑control processes.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of producing high‑quality technical documentation.
• Strong ownership, engineering judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive use of digital collaboration tools.
