Development Systems Engineer

About the role

Moog’s Space Sector is seeking a Development Systems Engineer to join its Actuation Systems Business Unit in Buffalo, NY. You will work on the conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex systems for NASA, military, and commercial missions, contributing to cutting‑edge space hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to system design, verification, and validation activities.
• Support subsystem‑level integration and testing.
• Create design artifacts such as simulation models, requirements, V&V plans, and test reports.
• Communicate technical information with customers and suppliers.
• Analyze root causes of issues and help implement corrective actions.
• Travel up to 5% to Moog and customer sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
