Development Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Development Engineer with strong software development skills to join our engineering team in Lafayette. You will work on cutting‑edge technology that supports real‑time oil and gas field management through advanced data analytics and physical modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of a market‑leading product for real‑time oil and gas field management.
• Develop software using modern engineering practices within the .NET ecosystem.
• Work across front‑end development, UI design, database development and system testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver new features aligned with the product roadmap.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and testing.

Required profile

• A strong degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Solid commercial or research programming experience within the .NET ecosystem.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
