Detox Training Manager

About the role

CRI-Help is seeking a Detox Training Manager to lead the education and competency development of Detox Support Technicians, Senior Detox Support Technicians, and Sobering Center Technicians across its Los Angeles facilities. The role supports clinical operations, ensures consistent training standards, and promotes safe withdrawal management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate structured training programs for detox and sobering center staff.
• Travel between detox and sobering center locations to conduct on‑site training and reinforce operational procedures.
• Oversee onboarding and ongoing competency assessments, focusing on client observation, withdrawal symptom recognition, documentation, and emergency response.
• Develop training materials, competency checklists, and standardized processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to identify training gaps and improve service quality.

Required profile

• Experience in substance‑use disorder treatment or related clinical environment.
• Proven ability to train and mentor clinical staff.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel between sites.
• Knowledge of withdrawal management, client monitoring, and emergency escalation protocols.
