Desktop Support Technician I – Entry Level

About the role

SynergenX Health Holdings is looking for an entry‑level Desktop Support Technician I to join its Information Technology team at the Northwest Houston corporate office. The role provides first‑line desktop and technical support to corporate employees and clinic locations, ensuring reliable and secure technology across a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for Windows workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.
• Install, configure and deploy hardware and software, including imaging and device setup for new hires.
• Assist with user account management in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Maintain hardware inventory, asset tracking and document issues in the IT ticketing system.
• Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff and support clinic technology deployments and hardware refresh projects.

Required profile

• 1 year or less of experience in IT Help Desk, Desktop Support or related roles (internships accepted).
• Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent technical training.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
• Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Computer hardware troubleshooting and peripheral support.
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• CompTIA A+ certification (or pursuing).
• Microsoft Intune or endpoint management tools (preferred).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Autopilot and basic PowerShell (a plus).
