Desktop Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to provide reliable support for Windows desktop environments and assist end‑users with a variety of infrastructure‑related issues. The role involves maintaining Windows 7/10 systems, handling basic Active Directory and Group Policy tasks, and collaborating with broader IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktop computers.
• Perform basic Active Directory user and computer administration.
• Configure and apply Group Policy settings.
• Provide first‑line support to end‑users, resolving hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, server access, and application/web service problems.
• Assist with cloud‑based services and related infrastructure components.

Required profile

• Proven experience in desktop support within Windows environments.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networking, and cloud services.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for end‑user and infrastructure issues.
