Desktop Support Analyst I

About the role

DYOPATH is seeking a motivated Desktop Support Analyst I to join its on‑site IT team in Waco, TX. You will be the first point of contact for users experiencing hardware or software issues, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals via phone, chat, or in‑person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, adhering to service‑level agreements.
• Install, deploy, and maintain company systems and applications, including Microsoft security patches and antivirus updates.
• Track incidents in the internal ticketing system and document resolutions.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles and process documentation.
• Liaise with third‑party vendors, order parts, and coordinate repairs.
• Participate in special projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, OR 2 years of equivalent experience.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check prior to hire.
