Desktop Support Analyst – Hybrid (Midtown Manhattan)

About the role

Solarus Technologies is looking for a motivated Desktop Support Analyst to join its fast‑paced Managed Services team. The role is hybrid, with three days per week on‑site at a key client in Midtown Manhattan and the remaining days collaborating with the internal NYC team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Administer Microsoft environments – Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, group policies, and access controls.
• Assist with onboarding/off‑boarding, device provisioning, and basic networking (VPN, Wi‑Fi).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system and escalate complex cases when needed.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of IT support experience, preferably in an MSP or client‑facing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across Windows platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with users at all levels.
• Commitment to continuous learning and pursuing additional certifications.
