Designer – Brand Creative

About the role
TED’s Brand Creative team is looking for a multi‑disciplined Designer who can translate big ideas into compelling visual experiences. You will work across digital, print, and environmental media, shaping the visual language of TED’s conferences, editorial channels, and global initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop concepts, designs, and identities that bring TED’s brand to life across a wide range of touchpoints.
- Create and extend brand systems for video series, podcasts, conferences, events, books, stage design, digital marketing, social media, signage, merchandise, and more.
- Produce original artwork for editorial channels and manage print production from layout through vendor hand‑off, including large‑format signage and conference materials.
- Present designs and concepts to stakeholders, providing a strong creative point of view.
- Collaborate closely with the Design Director and cross‑functional teammates, leading projects when needed and supporting others on theirs.
Required profile
- Highly conceptual visual thinker with meticulous execution skills.
- Collaborative mindset, ready to lead visionary work and assist teammates.
- Commitment to the health and success of the whole design team.
- Ability to work from idea generation through final production.
Required skills
- Strong command of typography.
- Expertise in color theory and composition.
- Integration of photography and visual storytelling.
- Brand system design.
- Print production workflow.
