Design Studio Associate

About the role

KREWE is seeking a Design Studio Associate to keep its New Orleans design studio organized, accurate, and efficient. The role supports both physical and digital studio assets, sample libraries, production archives, and the day‑to‑day workflow of the product design team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the organization of the New Orleans studio and its creative counterpart in NYC, including boards, kits, materials, and inspiration sources.
• Manage the physical and digital sampling library, ensuring items are correctly catalogued and accessible.
• Assist the Senior Product Designer with the delivery of revised technical drawings (CADs) and verify that specifications meet accuracy, timing, and completeness requirements.
• Prepare samples and materials for fit presentations, design meetings, and product testing.
• Participate in fit modeling, try on frames, and document fit results.
• Oversee shipping and receiving, initial quality control, and documentation of studio assets.

Required profile

• Strong eye for product detail and millimeter‑level attention to quality.
• Ability to suggest improvements to studio organization systems as the department evolves.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and mission‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with CAD software for technical drawings.
