Design Engineer – Mechanical Product Development

About the role

SuperATV is seeking a passionate Design Engineer to join its product development team. You will create high‑performance aftermarket components for UTVs and ATVs, ranging from suspension systems to cargo solutions, with a focus on durability and rider experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyze layouts, components, and detailed drawings in collaboration with a Project Manager and design team.
• Apply GD&T tolerances, perform tolerance stack‑up analysis, and ensure completeness of all CAD work.
• Produce 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks, and maintain organized design records.
• Partner with development and test engineers to develop test and validation plans for new and revised products.
• Utilize concurrent engineering techniques and run FEA to verify material and design choices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with metal fabrication, machining, and welding.
• Hands‑on shop‑floor experience and familiarity with descriptive geometry, auxiliary views, projections, and sectioning.

Required skills

• SolidWorks CAD software (3D modeling and drawing creation).
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for material and design validation.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Metal fabrication, machining, welding, and shop‑floor processes.
• Descriptive geometry, auxiliary view, projection, and sectioning techniques.
