Design Engineer

About the role

The Design Engineer will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create, improve, verify, and maintain product designs that meet client specifications and project requirements. Using design and analysis software, you will support the company’s engineering projects from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Create designs that address project requirements and client specifications.
• Implement changes to resolve field issues and enhance product performance.
• Define problems, conduct analysis, and develop engineering solutions.
• Assist in building prototypes and validate designs through testing.
• Produce detailed drawings for manufacturing and client communication.
• Review and check drawings and supporting documentation.
• Perform order‑of‑magnitude and detailed analyses to verify designs.
• Develop installation, operation, and maintenance manuals.
• Share knowledge and best practices across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic design of oilfield products; subsea experience is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously and under direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software for solid modeling, drawings, and schematics.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic design.
• Knowledge of analysis software for design verification.
• Advanced use of MS Office or similar productivity tools.
