About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer II to support the Navy’s propulsion, power generation and ship systems testing infrastructure at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The role involves mechanical, structural, electrical and fluid system design under senior engineer guidance.

Key responsibilities

Create and modify engineering drawings and 3D models.
Perform engineering calculations and design analyses.
Apply relevant engineering standards and codes.
Assist in design reviews and prepare technical documentation.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure design execution.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Design.
At least 3 years of engineering design experience.
Minimum 1 year applying engineering standards and codes.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Required skills

Proficiency with CAD software.
