Design Coordinator – Luxury Hospitality (Americas)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Design Coordinator to join our design team in Miami. Reporting to the Director of Design & Technical Services, you will support the development and implementation of Aman’s ultra‑luxury brand standards across projects in the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Attend project coordination workshops and ensure adherence to brand standards.
• Assist design and engineering consultants in developing approved designs through to working drawings.
• Review consultant drawings and specifications, track project schedules, and follow up on post‑site‑visit actions.
• Communicate project status accurately and provide regular updates and projections to the Director.
• Collaborate with corporate and external teams to manage information flows and archive digital communications.
• Produce meeting minutes, presentations, and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an architect, interior designer, design coordinator, or similar role.
• Familiarity with luxury hotel, residence, or resort project delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong work ethic, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work independently under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu (desirable).
