Dermatology Instructor – Academic Support Staff

About the role

The Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine is hiring multiple Instructors to join the Academic Support Staff. This is a one‑year appointment with the possibility of renewal for up to three years, contingent on performance and funding.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in general and complex medical dermatology.
• Develop and deliver educational activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in departmental administration and mentorship.
• Conduct independent or collaborative clinical research and pursue external funding.
• Maintain board certification/eligibility and stay current with dermatology advances.

Required profile

• MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent) degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Dermatology.
• Demonstrated interest in dermatology research and a plan to develop an independent research career.
• Commitment to teaching, clinical excellence, and scholarly activity.
