Deployment Success Manager

About the role

As a Deployment Success Manager on Serval’s Agent Deployment team, you will own the long‑term success of enterprise customers after go‑live. You will act as the primary technical partner, troubleshooting issues, driving adoption, and championing customer needs within the company. The role blends deep technical work—writing code and building automation—with a strong focus on customer outcomes and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own customer success and support by serving as the primary technical resource post‑sale, quickly resolving issues and advocating internally.
• Drive renewals and expansion by turning strong adoption into contract renewals and identifying opportunities to deepen Serval’s footprint.
• Build systems that scale support, creating tooling, automation, and playbooks that enable the team to serve more customers without linear headcount growth.
• Ship product changes by modifying production code to fix bugs and add features that meet customer needs.
• Make customers self‑sufficient through training sessions and documentation that help them extract full value from Serval.

Required profile

• Startup experience in a customer‑facing or technical role.
• Strong technical foundation with ability to read and troubleshoot production code, analyze code paths, database state, and API requests/responses using infrastructure and browser dev tools.
• Eagerness to build, writing code and automation to create scalable systems rather than one‑off fixes.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Instinct for outcomes (retention, adoption, expansion) with high agency in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
