Deployment Strategist (Remote, US East Coast)
n8n · Boston
Job description
About the role
n8n is an open workflow orchestration platform for AI, and it is looking for a Deployment Strategist to work remotely for the US East Coast. The main goal is to help enterprise customers turn isolated automation wins into a scalable operating model that drives measurable business impact. You will lead the business, adoption and governance workstream across high-value enterprise deployments, working closely with Forward Deployed Engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Drive customer outcomes during deployments and lead the organizational workstream from executive kickoff to closeout.
- Partner with engineers to turn customer problems into adopted workflows that solve real operational pain.
- Build the automation operating model: guide customers in implementing governance, ownership, decision-making, prioritization and adoption practices.
- Map business processes to find high-impact automation opportunities, build an automation roadmap with prioritization and ROI logic, and write business cases in the customer's language.
- Navigate organizations, build trust across technical teams, operators, executives and decision-makers, and identify upsell and expansion signals for the Customer Success team.
- Turn learnings from each deployment into internal playbooks and product feedback.
Required profile
- Enterprise deployment experience in deployment, implementation, consulting, solutions or technical customer success at a B2B software company.
- Experience driving adoption with enterprise customers in complex, high-stakes environments.
- Ability to map business processes, define operating models, build value cases and navigate organizations.
- Willingness to travel for on-site engagements about 30-50% of the time across Europe.
- English fluency; European languages and automation, change management or enterprise transformation experience are a plus.
Required skills
- Technical fluency: understanding of technical architecture, ability to demo and to judge fit, though no coding required.
- Storytelling: explaining complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders.
What we offer
- Competitive pay and equity.
- Vacation: 30 days in Europe, 20 days in the US, plus public holidays.
- Health plans, dental and vision coverage in the US; pension contributions and 401(k) with a 4% employer match in the US.
- Disability and life insurance, and $100 per month to support open-source projects.
- €1K (or equivalent) per year for learning, and a remote-first setup with regular off-sites.
