Deployment Strategist

About the role

As a Deployment Strategist on Serval's Agent Deployment team, you’ll be the primary technical relationship for Serval’s customers, guiding deployments, advising AI strategy, and owning outcomes. You’ll work across the product surface, building workflows, configuring integrations, and shipping bug fixes.

Key responsibilities

• Own customer engagements from pilot through production launch, designing and delivering deployments that fit each customer's workflows.
• Build AI agents on Serval’s platform that drive real value for customers.
• Advise AI strategy by embedding with customers to guide and shape adoption and scaling.
• Lead migrations, designing and executing migration plans that minimize disruption.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to turn field learnings into repeatable processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3+ years in a relevant role such as product, engineering, consulting, or founder.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills, able to translate complex technical concepts.
• Hands‑on technical ability to read and troubleshoot production code, analyze code paths, database state, and API requests/responses.
• Working knowledge of APIs and REST, IAM, and SQL for data analysis.
