Deployment Strategist

About the role

As a Deployment Strategist you will act as the bridge between Sapien’s AI platform and the finance and operations teams of our customers. You will learn their daily workflows, help them adopt Sapien to make faster, data‑driven decisions, and feed insights from the field back to product, sales and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end customer deployments, including scoping, workflow mapping, implementation, training and ongoing optimization.
• Embed with finance and operations stakeholders (CFOs, FP&A, analysts) to translate real‑world processes onto the Sapien platform.
• Develop and refine a repeatable deployment playbook that can be scaled across organizations.
• Provide sales with field‑derived insights, success stories and the language CFOs use to improve deal effectiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering to turn observed workflows into product requirements and to validate new features.
• Identify patterns across deployments that inform product roadmap and go‑to‑market strategy, and partner with founders on high‑priority initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of experience in banking, private equity, consulting or a similarly analytical role, with strong knowledge of financial statements and operating metrics.
• Comfortable presenting to senior finance leaders and building trust quickly.
• Track record of creating lasting processes rather than one‑off deliverables.
• Daily user of AI tools and ability to adopt new technologies rapidly.
• High‑agency mindset: proactively identifies needs and executes with attention to detail.
