About the role

The Department Manager leads a specific area of a busy restaurant franchise, ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly service while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cost control. You will coach crew members, oversee daily operations, and help drive sales and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned systems such as training, food safety, and inventory management.
• Set departmental goals, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and report results.
• Ensure crew and shift managers deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Oversee sales promotions, front‑counter, McCafé, and drive‑thru organization.
• Maintain food quality, speed of service, safety standards, and control food costs.
• Train kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items.
• Recruit, train, and schedule crew to meet sales and profit targets.

• Proven experience leading restaurant or hospitality teams.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
