About the role

Join Jenks Dental Co. as a Dental Hygiene Assistant and help ensure patients are comfortable while receiving dental care. You will support clinical staff with a range of patient‑care, office, and laboratory duties.

Key responsibilities

Prepare patients for hygiene procedures and sterilize instruments.
Set up instrument trays, prepare materials, and assist with scaling, root planing, fluoride application, and sealant placement.
Take and record medical and dental histories, vital signs, and dental diagnostic X‑rays.
Schedule appointments, process billing, complete insurance forms, and maintain patient records using a computer.
Instruct patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care.

Required skills

Dental diagnostic X‑Ray operation
Proficiency with computer‑based record keeping and scheduling systems
