About the role

The Delivery Specialist I supports the daily flow of mail across the university campus. This position ensures that all incoming and outgoing correspondence is handled efficiently, providing reliable service to faculty, staff, and students.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate campus departments and buildings.
• Prepare and dispatch outgoing mail, coordinating pickups with the U.S. Post Office in Commerce, Texas.
• Perform regular pick‑up and delivery runs between campus locations and the post office.
• Maintain accurate records of mail movements and report any discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and postal regulations.

Required profile

• Ability to work onsite in Commerce, Texas, on a regular schedule.
• Physical capability to lift and transport mail items throughout the campus.
• Reliable transportation for mail pick‑up and delivery duties.
