Delivery Driver

About the role

The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting materials over designated routes while providing courteous, prompt service to customers. This safety‑sensitive position requires constant awareness and adherence to both company and customer safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Transport materials safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
• Verify that loads match the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and secure them for transport.
• Unload deliveries at customer locations, confirming accuracy against the Ship Ticket.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure maintenance and safety compliance.
• Handle warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery.
• Maintain an orderly warehouse environment and follow all safety regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with Android or iOS operating systems.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence with at least three years of driving history and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Minimum one year of recent experience operating a commercial motor vehicle (GVWR > 10,001 lbs).
• Strong reading, writing, basic calculation, data entry, reasoning, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks accurately.
• Physical ability to meet FMCSA standards, including frequent walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and lifting.
