Delivery Driver

About the role

CORT Tradeshow and Events is seeking non‑CDL drivers to join its delivery team in Saint Rose, Louisiana. You will be responsible for safely transporting, setting up, and picking up furnishings and equipment for trade shows and events, while representing the brand to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and load furniture onto box trucks or sprinter vans, ensuring proper order and protection from damage.
• Complete pre‑ and post‑trip truck inspections and maintain a clean vehicle for each shift.
• Attend pre‑delivery meetings, communicate logistics, and resolve any issues with the operations team.
• Drive routes safely and lawfully, adhering to FMCSA regulations.
• Install, assemble, and adjust furniture on‑site according to floor plans or client instructions.
• Supervise temporary labor, directing loading, unloading, and on‑site tasks.
• Perform warehouse duties such as loading/unloading trucks when needed.

Required profile

• Valid non‑CDL driver’s license and ability to operate box trucks or sprinter vans.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections and documentation.
• Professional demeanor for on‑site customer interaction.
• Ability to follow safety standards and FMCSA guidelines.

Required skills

• Electronic Logging Device (ELD) operation for accurate duty records.
