Defense Division Transformation Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking a Defense Division Transformation Manager to lead strategic transformation initiatives across its Defense Division within the Space and Defense Group. Based onsite in Buffalo, NY, you will work closely with senior leadership to embed the 80/20 transformation methodology into the division’s business rhythm, culture, and long‑term decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and drive the strategic vision for the Defense Division’s 80/20 transformation.
• Influence business and resourcing decisions to accelerate growth, improve profitability, and focus on priority customers.
• Provide enterprise‑wide leadership, delivering recommendations across all functions with emphasis on Simplification, Segmentation, Growth, and Resourcing.
• Act as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions and guiding strategic choices.
• Coach teams and leaders on 80/20 principles, analytical tools, and decision frameworks.
• Develop and deliver education, training, and awareness materials.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to assess transformation impact and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven years of proven experience in strategic transformation, business program management, or related roles.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
