Deal Attorney – Remote (Pacific Time Zone)

About the role

Crosby A.I., a legaltech startup backed by Sequoia Capital and Bain Capital Ventures, is looking for a driven Deal Attorney to join its newly formed legal team. The role is fully remote within the U.S. Pacific Time Zone and focuses on using the company’s AI‑powered contract automation tools to negotiate and close commercial deals for high‑growth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end commercial transactions for fast‑growing startups, including M&A, equity, finance, and technology agreements.
• Utilize Crosby’s proprietary AI tools to draft, review, and finalize contracts efficiently.
• Maintain direct client contact, own relationships, and ensure high‑quality deliverables without supervision.
• Collaborate with a lean team of senior commercial attorneys and contribute to the development of best‑practice processes.

Required profile

• 2‑7 years of transactional experience in BigLaw (M&A, ECVC, Finance, Tech Transactions, or general corporate).
• J.D. or LLM from a top‑20 law school and admission to a U.S. bar.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Commercial mindset with a drive to support innovative, high‑growth clients.

Required skills

• Transactional drafting and negotiation.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted contract tools (as used by the company).
