About the role

Anthropic is building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. As a member of the Data Science & Analytics team, you will design and own the measurement strategy for the company’s marketing investments, starting with paid‑media mix modeling and expanding to lifecycle programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operate an in‑house marketing mix model, including geo‑experiments, synthetic‑control studies, and holdout tests.
• Translate measurement outcomes into budget and channel recommendations for senior marketing leaders.
• Define success metrics and guardrails for lifecycle marketing focused on activation and active usage.
• Design causal experiments, analyze results, and provide actionable impact recommendations.
• Build self‑serve measurement tools and best practices so marketing teams can answer routine questions without a data scientist.
• Present complex technical analyses to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with marketing incrementality methods such as MMM, geo experiments, synthetic controls, and large‑scale A/B or holdout testing.
• Strong judgment on when to apply causal inference versus machine‑learning techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Background applying data science within a Marketing or Growth context.
• Ability to communicate complex analyses as clear recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.
