Data Scientist

About the role

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join a Fortune 500 product‑based organization in the United States. The role focuses on building large‑scale data platforms, advanced machine‑learning solutions, and data‑driven products that serve millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Design, validate, and deploy machine‑learning and predictive‑analytics models.
• Develop statistical models to solve real‑world business problems.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate insights.
• Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, and optimisation for production‑grade models.
• Build forecasting, recommendation, classification, and clustering models.
• Support experimentation, A/B testing, and performance measurement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2 + years of experience in data science, machine learning, analytics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit‑Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch or XGBoost.
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability and predictive‑modeling techniques.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data sets.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
