Data Scientist I – Open Banking Solutions

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Data Scientist I to join its International Open Banking Product Value Proposition team. As an individual contributor, you will help develop innovative, data‑driven open banking solutions that empower consumers and create value for Mastercard’s clients.

Key responsibilities

• Apply a range of data‑science techniques to large data sets, from development through deployment support, to deliver market‑leading solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to build and deploy interactive dashboards that provide engaging insights and a strong user experience.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met.
• Conduct customer trials, supporting data specification, processing, analysis, and presentation of results.
• Proactively pursue product excellence by investigating new data sources, encouraging cross‑team collaboration, managing projects to schedule, and exploring new tools and techniques.

Required profile

• Strong communicator who enjoys helping build a data‑science capability.
• Ability to work independently within a growing data‑science team.
