Data Scientist – Associate to Senior Level

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking talented data scientists to join the BETR Metrics Office. You will work on forward‑looking models that support bank supervision and policy, collaborating with examiners and researchers across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and communicate innovative econometric, predictive, behavioral, or simulation models to identify banking‑industry trends and risks.
• Contribute to large‑scale analytic projects from concept formulation through analysis, implementation, and presentation of results.
• Perform scalable data processing using distributed computing, cloud platforms, and data‑warehousing solutions.
• Implement MLOps practices, including model serving, containerization, and ongoing model monitoring.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data mining, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
