About the role

Wakefern Food Corp. is seeking a Data Integration & AI Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex data automation projects. The role focuses on reducing manual data handling, improving data accessibility, and supporting the cooperative’s retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines and ETL processes for scalable, reliable data operations.
• Develop robust data integration solutions to streamline data flow across diverse systems and databases.
• Continuously optimize data workflows and automation for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in the full development life cycle, from requirements definition to implementation and maintenance.
• Enforce data quality and governance standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, analysts, and scientists to ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular updates to management and adhere to Architecture Review Board best practices.
