Data Entry Specialist - Healthcare

About the role

The Healthcare Data Entry Specialist will join Gainwell’s operations team to accurately enter, review and validate claims‑related information. Working remotely from anywhere in the United States, you will ensure that claims and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and compliant with established standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and verify claims information, supporting documentation and healthcare records with high accuracy.
• Review claim forms and related documents to ensure completeness, correctness and policy compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive healthcare and member data.
• Meet productivity, quality and accuracy standards while managing daily workload efficiently.
• Utilize multiple healthcare systems and Microsoft Office tools to support claims processing.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of experience in data entry, administrative support, claims processing or related healthcare operations.
• Strong typing speed with high accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
