Data Entry Clerk – Palm Beach Gardens

About the role

The Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office is seeking motivated, service‑oriented individuals to join its North County team as Data Entry Clerks. This full‑time, onsite position supports the integrity and accuracy of criminal court records and civil case exhibits while providing valuable exposure to court operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex data entry for docketing functions, creating entries for each document and ensuring image quality.
• Maintain chain of custody for digital/electronic and documentary evidence, including emails, text messages, thumb drives, CDs, contracts, and financial records.
• Update party and attorney information, monitor case status, and forward filings to the appropriate court departments.
• Conduct regular inventory, secure storage, and manage final disposition or destruction of evidence in compliance with Florida statutes.
• Screen indigency applications and process new cases as required.

Required profile

• Highly motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Service‑oriented attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
• Willingness to complete up to five days of mandatory onsite training at the main courthouse.

Required skills

• Accurate data entry and document handling.
• Familiarity with handling digital and physical evidence.
