About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a team in Poway, California. This long‑term contract position focuses on high‑volume data processing with an emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
Key responsibilities
- Enter and update information in computer‑based records quickly and accurately.
- Review source documents to verify details before data entry.
- Process numeric and text‑based entries while maintaining consistent formatting.
- Identify and flag missing, unclear, or inconsistent information for correction.
- Maintain organized digital records for easy retrieval and audit.
- Perform routine quality checks to reduce errors.
- Complete assigned data entry tasks within established timelines.
Required profile
- Previous experience in data entry or a similar administrative support role.
- Strong keyboarding and typing ability with high accuracy.
- Experience handling numeric data and attention to detail.
- Comfort using computers and standard data entry systems.
- Ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
- Good organizational skills and adherence to procedures.
- Reliable written and verbal communication for clarifying data issues.
