Data Entry Clerk – Long-term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry Clerk to join a busy administrative team in Fargo, North Dakota on a long‑term contract basis. The role focuses on reviewing invoice details, confirming accuracy, and entering information into internal systems with a high degree of precision.

Key responsibilities

• Examine incoming invoices to verify billing details, amounts, and supporting information before processing.
• Enter invoice data into company systems accurately and efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Compare documentation against invoice records to identify discrepancies and flag issues for follow‑up.
• Handle a high volume of data‑entry tasks throughout the day while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.
• Use Microsoft Office applications to organize, track, and manage invoice‑related information.
• Communicate with team members in person and via Microsoft Teams to clarify invoice questions and resolve processing issues.
• Maintain orderly digital records and ensure information is consistently updated within internal databases.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in data entry or a closely related administrative support role.
• Proven ability to process numeric and high‑volume data with accuracy and consistency.
• Comfortable working in an administrative setting with extended periods of computer‑based work.
• Ability to manage responsibilities effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including collaboration through Teams.
