Data Entry Clerk

About the role

FastTek Global is seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to accurately capture and manage information from a variety of source documents. The role supports the company’s commitment to precision and efficient data handling across its consulting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, and bills, and enter data into designated fields using keyboards or scanners.
• Compile, sort, and verify data accuracy before entry.
• Identify and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.
• Compare entered data with original documents and perform re‑entry verification to detect discrepancies.
• Maintain activity logs and documentation of completed work.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 8‑10 years of related data entry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Effective time‑management and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
