Data Entry Clerk – Full‑time On‑site

About the role

The Data Entry Clerk will work full‑time on‑site in Ossining, NY, entering and updating customer, billing and service information for Palisades Fuel. The role ensures records are accurate, complete and readily accessible while supporting daily administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update customer, billing and service data in company systems with high accuracy.
• Review documents for errors, correct discrepancies and maintain organized digital and paper files.
• Use office software to support scheduling, invoicing and service order administration.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries and assist with basic information requests.
• Communicate regularly with team members and, when needed, interact directly with customers to confirm details or resolve issues.

Required profile

• Strong typing ability and high computer literacy.
• Administrative assistance skills such as organization, record‑keeping and basic office procedures.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
• Attention to detail and focus on numerical accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work reliably on‑site.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior data‑entry or office experience is a plus.
