About the role
The COSMOS Research Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a full‑time Data Engineer II. This provisional position is funded through a grant or contract and supports data‑driven research by turning raw data into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, manage, and transform raw data sets for analytics and decision‑making.
- Develop, maintain, and improve data pipelines and systems to enhance data quality and efficiency.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis, interpret trends, and generate complex reports.
- Design and prototype algorithms to support research initiatives.
- Lead the creation of social‑media data collection pipelines and related data workflows.
Required profile
- Experience in data engineering or related analytical roles.
