About the role
The COSMOS Research Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a full‑time Data Engineer I. This provisional, grant‑funded position focuses on turning raw data into actionable insights that support research and decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for analytics.
- Develop, maintain, and improve datasets and data pipelines.
- Enhance data quality and processing efficiency using data systems.
- Interpret trends and patterns, producing complex data reports.
- Design and prototype algorithms to support research objectives.
- Lead the development of social‑media data collection processes.
