Data Center Technician

About the role

TensorWave is seeking a Data Center Technician to join its fast‑growing operations team. You will install, configure, and test new data‑center equipment that powers cutting‑edge AI workloads, while collaborating with cross‑functional partners to meet business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test new data‑center infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure high reliability and performance.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with local and remote teams to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with company protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and data‑center best practices during all on‑site activities.
• Provide on‑site technical support during critical incidents or outages as part of an on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in data‑center operations, including hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of data‑center infrastructure such as networking, servers, and storage systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills within a national operations team.
• Willingness to travel as needed and work a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule (day or night).
