Data Analyst, Macro Analytics

About the role

Stripe is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Macro Analytics team. You will partner with Treasury Finance, Finance & Strategy, Risk, and Engineering to build analytics frameworks that support the company’s financial planning and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop analytics and observability frameworks for Stripe’s financial position.
• Investigate macroeconomic signals and create analytical models for financial planning.
• Build targeted observability and performance analytics for standard and event‑driven environments.
• Leverage Stripe’s data assets to analyze financial performance and create scalable data foundations.
• Work with heterogeneous and unstructured data to generate insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build data pipelines, models, and infrastructure.
• Support ongoing reporting, stakeholder communications, and information requests across Treasury Finance and Finance & Strategy.

Required profile

• Located in New York or willing to relocate (role is hybrid).
• 3–6 years of experience in data research, risk modeling, business intelligence, or data engineering.
• Proven ability to build data pipelines and analyze large datasets.
