Data Analyst – ETL & Migration Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Analyst to lead data migration and ETL initiatives for our next‑generation credit‑union technology platform. You will work with large, complex datasets, ensuring data accuracy and delivering clear insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, transform, and validate high‑volume data for migration projects.
• Develop and maintain ETL scripts, reconciliation workflows, and data‑validation tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate data logic into actionable reports.
• Create dashboards and exception reports using Amazon QuickSight or Tableau.
• Document data processes and ensure scalability of data pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on data migration and large‑scale validation.
• Experience working with financial or banking data is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and stored‑procedure development.
• Python programming, especially Pandas and NumPy for data cleaning and automation.
• Hands‑on ETL and data‑migration experience.
• Data‑visualisation tools such as Amazon QuickSight or Tableau.
• Basic AWS knowledge (S3, RDS).
• Proficiency with CSV, JSON, and XML file formats.
• Familiarity with Git version control (nice to have).
