Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

Culinary Depot is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to protect our sensitive data from internal and external threats. You will lead proactive monitoring, incident response, and the continuous improvement of our security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement broad defensive measures to safeguard company data.
• Monitor daily for unusual activity, run defensive protocols, and report incidents.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop new security layers and proactive systems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date security guidelines, procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Conduct vulnerability testing and work with IT and training teams to remediate findings.
• Configure anti‑virus solutions, firewalls, servers and software updates with a security‑first mindset.
• Manage user credentials, monitor access, and verify data integrity.
• Lead employee training on phishing, cyber‑attack prevention, and new technology adoption.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of cybersecurity experience in a mid‑ to large‑size organization.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards, certifications and attacker tactics.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
