Cybersecurity Intern

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Intern you will gain hands‑on experience supporting our security operations while learning the fundamentals of information security. Working closely with the cybersecurity team, you will help protect the organization’s systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review security alerts and notifications.
• Assist in threat analysis, triage, and escalation.
• Support incident‑response activities and documentation.
• Research vulnerabilities and emerging technologies.
• Audit systems against the company’s information‑security framework.
• Prepare reporting metrics for leadership.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a cybersecurity or related degree program.
• Basic understanding of risk analysis, threat detection, vulnerability assessment, identity and access management, and incident response.
• Familiarity with CIS Controls or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Motivated, dependable, detail‑oriented and eager to learn.
