Cybersecurity Engineer / ISSO for DoD Project

About the role

Dynamo Technologies LLC is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer who will also serve as the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the U.S. Army Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT). The role provides cybersecurity, information assurance, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support for both classified and unclassified systems throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the appointed ISSO for Product Manager Combat Ready PNT.
• Manage and maintain multiple RMF authorization packages in eMASS, ensuring compliance with DoD and Army cybersecurity requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, document, and execute Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security control validation.
• Develop, track, and remediate Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
• Produce and update cybersecurity documentation such as Security Plans, RMF artifacts, and acquisition‑related documents.
• Provide cybersecurity input to Systems Engineering Plans, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Acquisition Strategies, and related solicitations.
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams, technical working groups, and program reviews, offering cybersecurity recommendations.
• Support technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, PRR, FCA, PCA) and resolve security issues across PM PNT systems.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of the DoD Risk Management Framework and Assessment & Authorization processes.
• Experience managing RMF packages and using eMASS.
• Ability to work with both classified and unclassified environments.
