Cybersecurity Consulting Intern – Summer 2027

About the role

Join PwC’s Advisory practice as a Cybersecurity Consulting Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work alongside experienced consultants to help clients manage technology, data, and cyber risks while gaining hands‑on exposure to real‑world security projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity teams in identifying and managing technology and data risks.
• Participate in the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and policies.
• Assist in designing and reviewing security architectures to protect digital assets.
• Engage in vulnerability assessments and security incident management processes.
• Collaborate to enhance privacy compliance and regulatory response efforts.
• Utilize Azure Data Factory to orchestrate and automate data workflows.
• Apply Agile methodology to improve project management and software development.
• Gather and analyze information to support decision‑making and pattern recognition.
• Observe and learn from senior professionals, incorporating feedback for personal growth.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (typically 3rd or 4th year).
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Engineering, IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Business Analytics.
• Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3 (or higher) and major GPA: 3.3.
• Enthusiasm for cybersecurity and privacy practices.
