Cybersecurity Analyst – Threat Detection & Incident Response

About the role

Aaratech Inc is looking for a detail‑oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to protect its systems, networks and data from evolving cyber threats. The analyst will monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, manage vulnerabilities and support compliance with industry frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Investigate suspicious activities, analyze system, application and network logs to detect anomalies.
• Respond to security incidents, support containment, remediation and recovery, and document findings.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, risk assessments and coordinate patching with IT teams.
• Assist in implementing security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and CIS standards.
• Participate in security audits, risk assessments and maintain relevant documentation.
• Utilize endpoint detection and response tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS and other security technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Strong understanding of network security, threat detection, vulnerability management and incident response processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate findings clearly.
