Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security operations team across several US locations. The role focuses on monitoring, compliance, user support and incident response within a regulated defense and aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, investigate suspicious activity and escalate as needed.
• Assist with phishing response, security awareness initiatives and provide end‑user guidance on secure practices.
• Support incident triage, evidence collection, documentation and post‑incident follow‑up under senior guidance.
• Administer endpoint protection tools, multi‑factor authentication, VPN access, email security and other foundational controls.
• Contribute to compliance and audit‑readiness for CMMC, NIST SP 800‑171, DFARS, ITAR and CUI protection.
• Maintain accurate documentation, support security projects and collaborate across teams to improve the overall security posture.

Required profile

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems or network administration, or IT support.
• Foundational knowledge of security principles, common threats and incident response concepts.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Endpoint protection, multi‑factor authentication, VPN and email security solutions.
• Security monitoring, log review and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CMMC and NIST SP 800‑171.

What we offer

• Salary range $72,000 – $88,000 per year.
• 10 % performance bonus through a Management Incentive Plan.
